A Brief History of Flat Lemons
There are so many types of lemons! There are Meyer lemons, Buddha’s hand, citron, Ponderosa lemons, bush lemons, and of course, the most popular of all—the Flat Lemon. Due to the convenient carrying size of Flat Lemons, they became quite popular in the 1800s when briefcases were all the rage. Folks would often pack a few Flat Lemons in their bag so they could add a bit of Flat Lemon to their water to make it taste better throughout the day. In the late 1800s, it was fashionable for rich people to wear the biggest Flat Lemons they could find as hats, as a sign of wealth. These days, Flat Lemons are extremely popular in drinks and fancy table settings.

If there is one puzzle that we could point to as the main inspiration for Le Puzz as a whole it would have to be Flat Banana, a rare solid yellow jigsaw puzzle made by Springbok in 1979. We like to think that Flat Fruit series are the unofficial little siblings to Flat Banana.
