Flat Blueberry Juice
Long before there was wine, there was Flat Blueberry Juice—a delicacy in ancient Egypt and the most beloved drink of Cleopatra. They say that the flatter you can make the blueberry when juicing it, the more luck it will bring the drinker. The Egyptians had many ingenious ways of flattening the blueberries, but the most popular methods involved sandstone, adzes, and chisels. There was also an arduous selection process for the best blueberries. The sweetest bluebs were harvested, flattened, juiced, and enjoyed. There are many historical mentions of Flat Blueberries, and this is our ode to them. :)
If there is one puzzle that we could point to as the main inspiration for Le Puzz as a whole it would have to be Flat Banana, a rare solid yellow jigsaw puzzle made by Springbok in 1979. We like to think that Flat Fruit series are the unofficial little siblings to Flat Banana.
